Medabots Spirits (anime)
Arcbeetle-Dash, also known as Arc-Dash, is a KBT-type Medabot, similar to Arcbeetle but capable of performing a Medachange. Arcbeetle-Dash appears in Medabots Spirits, where it is the Medabot used by Ginkai.
Essentially an upgraded version of Arcbeetle, Arcbeetle-Dash's main feature is the ability to Medachange into a wheeled tank-like form, allowing it to execute high-speed charging attacks. Some changes were made to the design to allow for this, specifically the addition of large shoulder-mounted boosters and a modified foot design. Arcbeetle Dash's armaments are the same as Arcbeetle's, with three-barreled guns on each arm and the signature high-power beam attack fired from the horns on its head and torso.
In the anime
In Medabots Spirits, Arcbeetle-Dash is first introduced alongside Tyrelbeetle as a prototype at the Medabots Corporation, where Ikki and Zuru are given the opportunity to test them out using Metabee and Gorem-2's Medals, respectively. Metabee finds Arcbeetle-Dash's body to be extremely heavy and difficult to move properly, resulting in extremely clumsy performance during the test. Later, the two Medabots were offered as a prize in a tournament, where they were won by Ginkai. After Ginkai realized the importance of friendship and true partnership with Medabots, he decided to reuse his old Bayonet's Kabuto Medal in the new Arcbeetle-Dash body, giving the Medabot the name "Arc-Dash". After Zuru, in the guise of the Mystery Medafighter, helped him out, Ginkai gave him Tyrelbeetle's parts to use. Later on, during important battles, the two of them occasionally combined their Medabots into Masterbeetle, which overpowered and defeated Redrun.
He is quite like Metabee, who doesn't take orders from anyone: stubborn, hot-tempered, loyal, and a good friend. He is in love with Peppercat, even going so far as to hitting Blakbeetle dead-on with the Medaforce just for damaging her body and ceasing her functions. He has a Rare Medal, and, as such, has access to the Medaforce.
Arc-Dash is voiced by Dan Petronijevic and Phil McCordic in the English dub.
