Beni Shijimi (シジミベニ) is the younger sister of Yamato Shijimi. She first meets Koishimaru when he hears her crying because she let go of her balloon and it flew into the giant tree near the shrine. Koishimaru offers to retrieve the balloon and returns it to her. In return, she later gives Koishimaru her Medal. She is close to her brother and cried when she thought Koishimaru was bullying him. She does not like going to the dentist and hid out in the giant tree all day to avoid getting a cavity filling.
