Hopstar, known in Japanese as Bunnyheart (バニーハート), is a BNY-type Medabot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[]

Hopstar, more than just a bunny, resembles a woman dressed up as one, which is considered sexy by men in most parts of the world. Specifically, she resembles a bunny waitress, much like the Playboy ones. She has two hearts, one for each arm, and a metallic set made to resemble human, feminine hair.

Hopstar isn't suited for battle, but instead to support her allies by speeding them up. She lacks of any defenses so any defending Metabot could be great to avoid her getting hit.

In the games[]

Medarot[]

Hopstar's parts can only be encountered during the parts test with Nae. It is impossible to get a full set of parts without trading for it. Additionally, by trading over Rabudo's parts to another version, they will transform into Hopstar's parts.

Medarot 2[]

Hopstar is one of the few Medabots from the first game that can be obtained without trading, but only two random parts can be obtained by having a Robattle with the waitress in the bar.

Medabots (GBA)[]

Hopstar returns as the waitress's Medabot in the remake, and also rarely appears in the Rubberobo Gang's secret lair (BF 2).

Medarot Navi[]

Hopstar's design has changed. Her mouth is gone, and her eyes are now green. Furthermore, she now has a tail.

In the anime[]

Hopstar is first seen in Ban All Medabots as one of the Medabots confiscated by the PTA.

In Swede and Sour, Hopstar is Annika's Medabot and both appear in the World Robattle Cup as part of Team Sweden. She and her teammates, Fossilkat and Sailormate gained the upper hand due to their Medafighters seducing Team Japan to go easy on them. After the Phantom Renegade revealed that Team Sweden were actually men, Ikki became furious and Hopstar and her team were defeated by a single hit from Metabee's Seeker Missiles.

In the English dub, Hopstar's model number is BNY-21425.
