Grayscale?[]

M1-KBT-0-SGB

When Medarot 1 is played on Super Gameboy, all the Medarots have a reddish hue (I supplied a screenshot of KBT-0). I wonder, since the developers intended it like that, maybe the pictures uploaded should be colored? Also, the only image in this category is double the normal size. Should all the uploaded pictures be like that, too ? Just wondering. --Sanky ~ talk 21:07, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, we're doing them all double size because it looks a bit nicer...XD Anyway, since all of the Medarots are the same colour, why does it matter if it's greyscale? XD It's not like the actual Medarot is supposed to be red, so it seems more misleading to use colour... Kimbles 21:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I think it would be possible to automatically double the size using the template, but I dunno how to do that. If I could figure that out, I think it would be better to upload them in the original size. Also, I guess it's fine with them being in grayscale, I didn't know they had colours other then that, but I guess the ones that reappear do.. XD --Sanky ~ talk 22:04, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
That can be achieved with a vector graphics program, such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, the latter being free.--SoujiroElric 22:19, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't really think working with sprites in a vector editor is a good idea.. XD but yeah, the 1x versions can be archived all right. I actually got the Medarot heads (parts XXX-01) ripped, but it's a better idea to upload the Medarot sprite with all its parts already attached, right ? --Sanky ~ talk 09:05, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
We should get gamesharks for getting the parts, amirite?--SoujiroElric 04:18, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Wouldn't it be easier to rip it from the ROM? Since it's all in grayscale, there won't be any palette issues, and I already ripped all the heads (though other parts are going to be trickier). --Sanky ~ talk 15:35, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
It seems like it'd be easier to get them from the game, because they're in pieces in the rom and it would increase the chance of error if we have to put them together? D: And besides, it won't be an option for the other games where things are in different colours or compressed... By the way, a found a gameshark list for all of the Medarots in 2, but it has the side effect of screwing up random pixels on the sprites when the codes are on... -_- So much for that. Yeah, guess so.. I still like the idea of having all the parts saved separately, though XD Yeah, I know that for the other games, we'll still have to rip them manually... *sigh* --Sanky ~ talk 10:40, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
