Chimerator, known in Japanese as Triple Gottsun (トリプルゴッツン), is a KMR-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.

Description[]

Chimerator is a Medabot based on a chimera that has three kinds of attacks, each inflicting Status Effects. His head part resembles a lion and has a "Melt" attack, which causes continuous damage to the enemy with a corrosive acid; his right arm part resembles a dragon and has a "Hold" attack, which decreases the enemies' movement speed; and his left arm part resembles a goat and has a "Virus" attack, which decreases the enemies' success rate. Chimerator has four legs, meaning he can move well in mountains, but poorly in cities. His tail resembles a snake.

Unless the player has a "Minus Status Clear", and legs with a good evasion, extreme caution should be used when challenging Chimerator. Also due to all of his attacks only being "Strike" attacks, "Half Block" shields can negate the majority of them.

In the games[]

Medarot 2[]

Chimerator is Seaslug's Medabot in the Kuwagata Version of Medarot 2. He takes the same role in the GBA remake.

Medarot R[]

In Medarot R Parts Collection, Chimerator can be obtained by fighting Medafighter 5, who is ranked opponent number 23.

Medarot S: Unlimited Nova[]

He appears in the retelling of Medarot 2 with the same role.

Etymology[]

Chimerator is the word chimera with the suffix -tor.

His Japanese name appears to be derived from gotsun, a childish Japanese onomatopoeia for a thud. His arm parts also appear to be named after Japanese onomatopoeia: gaou (a roar), and mee mee (sound from sheeps and goats).
