Tankar, known in Japanese as Tank Soldier (タンクソルジャー), is a BMT-type Medabot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[]

Tankar is a Medabot modeled after either a war machine or tank. His whole design is based on warfare, with his arms being guns and his legs wheels. His head is modeled after a shield.

In the games[]

Tankar's arms have "Gatling" attacks, and his head has the Flow Cancel effect in the first two games and Medarot R. In later appearances Flow Cancel was replaced by Symptom Clear.

Medarot[]

He can be encountered during random battles against boys. He can also be bought at the convenience store in the Machinaka area.

Medarot 2[]

He cannot be obtained normally, being only available by transfering his parts from the first game.

Medabots (GBA)[]

A teacher in Ikki's school will Robattle the player using Tankar. When the player walks around the city, a random match may involve fighting two Tankars.

In the anime[]

In the episode The Spy Who Robattled Me, the Medabot Corporation uses these Medabots to test out the brand new model Belzelga. Belzelga easily defeats all the Tankars.

Tankar also makes a cameo appearance as one of the Medabots available in Hop Mart in the first episode.

His model type is BMT-21320 in the English dub.
