Babbyblu, known in Japanese as Primity Baby (プリミティベビー), is a BAY-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Description[]
Babbyblu lives to his name, as he is modeled to resemble a small, floating infant.
In the games[]
Babbyblu uses an assortment of Interrupt parts to cancel out his opponent's attacks, making him quite tricky. However, he is incapable of dealing direct damage. He can use Force Control from the head, Confusion from the right arm, and Extra Charge from the left arm.
Medarot 2[]
Despite being encountered in an optional battle after Mega-Emperor, the player won't be able to obtain Babbyblu's parts after defeating him. Instead, the player must either use a set of passwords for the parts or trade them over from the game Medarot 2 Parts Collection.
Medabots (GBA)[]
Babbyblu is kept inside a testing device in Dr. Armond's secret lab under Medapark, just before the final Mega-Emperor marathon battle. The scientist will move aside after the battle, allowing the player to reach the sleeping Medabot. Approaching Babbyblu will cause him to wake up crying, forcing the player into a final robattle. Babbyblu is supported in this battle by another Mega-Emperor as well as an Armorparadeen. The challenge proves even more difficult to win than the previous robattles. Victory will earn the player the full set of Babbyblu's parts.
Medarot R[]
Primity Baby is obtainable from Medarot R Parts Collection by fighting Kirara, who is ranked opponent number 6. In this game he has "GO TO HEAVEN" written on his belly.
Medarot 3[]
A large Primity Baby appeared being used as a power generator. Primity Baby's parts are not available.
Medarot 4[]
In Medarot 4 only, Primity Baby's model number has been changed to BAY-1.
Medabots AX[]
Babbyblu is the leader Medabot from Shrimplips's team.
Medarot S: Unlimited Nova[]
Primity Baby is a limited gacha Medarot. The actions from his arms changed to Defense Seal and Hi-Percept, and his legs gained the Auto Repair effect.
In the anime[]
Babbyblu in the anime.
Babbyblu appears in the final episodes of the Medabots anime as a giant Medabot capable of mass destruction created and controlled by Dr. Meta-Evil after his plan of a Medabot revolution failed. He is the last and most powerful enemy Medabot of the original series, being fought by Giant Metabee.
In the anime, Babbyblu was created by Dr. Meta-Evil with what he learned about the advanced technology from the Medalorians, its head part making it immune to the Medaforce. Babbyblu also has a strong force field and can fire powerful energy beams, and has an ejection system, with Dr. Meta-Evil and Michael escaping from its explosion with a parachute.
