Tyrelbeetle[1] (ティレルビートル), also written as Tyrrellbeetle[2] and Tyrrell Beetle,[3] is a KWG-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 4.

Description[]

M4-KWG-6-MC

Medachanged form.

Tyrelbeetle is based on the giant stag beetle (dorcus hopei binodulosus). Tyrelbeetle's most distinctive features are his bright blue color and his enormous shoulder-mounted horn-claws. He has Sword attacks on his arms.

He has Medachange, transforming into a low-to-the-ground wheeled form, and in the anime he can combine with Arcbeetle Dash in that form. The Drives from his Medachange form are Laser, Break and Napalm.

In the games[]

Medarot 4[]

Tyrelbeetle is Phantom Renegade's alternate Medabot for the Kuwagata Version. He can be fought in the battle simulator at Ryuutou.

Medarot Navi[]

In this game, Tyrelbeetle's model number is KWG-7BX.

Medarot 8[]

Tyrelbeetle's model number changed to KWG06-C, and his normal actions changed to Desperate (head) and Beam Sword (each arm). His legs gained the Generator effect, while his Medachange gained the Move effect Adapter.

Medarot 9[]

Both of his arms are now considered Heavy parts. The effect from his legs changed to "Taishokubi", and they have a Heavy Limit of 2 to support his arms.

Medarot S: Unlimited Nova[]

Tyrelbeetle is a limited gacha Medabot. He is similar to his Medarot 9 appearance, but the effect from his legs changed to Fortress.

Medabots Spirit Tyrelbeetle episode 15

Tyrelbeetle in the anime

Tyrelbeetle is a prominent Medabot featured in Medabots Spirit. He was first introduced alongside Arcbeetle Dash in Metabee's Out of Body Experience as a prototype at the Medabots Corporation, where Zuru and Ikki were given the opportunity to try them out using Gorem-2 and Metabee's Medals, respectively. Zuru and Gorem-2 handled the body expertly.

Later, in Once a Medafighter (1), the two Medabots were offered as the prize for a Robattle tournament, and were won by Ginkai. Shortly thereafter, in the next episode, Kam challenged Ginkai with Redrun, with Ginkai using Arcbeetle Dash against him. During the battle, Ginkai gave Tyrelbeetle's parts to Zuru in his guise as the Mystery Medafighter, and afterwards he said that the Mystery Medafighter can keep Tyrelbeetle. The Mystery Medafighter then started using Tyrelbeetle with Gorem-2's Ghost Medal alongside Roks.

In Once a Medafighter (2) and Into the Fire, Tyrelbeetle and Arc-Dash combined into Masterbeetle, which is able to overpower and defeat Redrun, but not Gryphon.

In the English dub, Tyrelbeetle is voiced by Ron Pardo,[4] and his model number is KWG-11237. In the Japanese version, he is voiced by Masami Iwasaki.
