Nae Aki, known in Japanese as Nae Akihabara (アキハバラ ナエ Akihabara Nae), often referred to as Miss Nae, is Dr. Aki's granddaughter and a prominent character in the Medabots franchise.
In the games[]
Nae first appeared in the original Medarot as a young girl. Alongside Kirara, she is one of the love interests for Hikaru, with Hikaru staying with Nae in one of the three endings.
Years later, in Medarot 2 and its GBA remake, Nae now works on the Medabot Corporation. Nae primarily works in the Medabot laboratory from Riverview City, together with her grandfather. She has a long, black hair and wears a laboratory outfit. She is usually depicted as a kind woman, always being some kind of support to Ikki, and provides him with Medals throughout the game. Nae's coworkers admire and respect her, with one of them warning Ikki to not cause trouble to her.
Nae will battle Ikki with the elemental series Medabots which includes Windsail / Aquacrown (depending on version), Saldron and Earthkrono.
In Medarot 3, she upgrades Metabee's parts to the Saikachi parts in Medaropolis.
Nae also appeared in Medarot 4, Medarot 7, and Medarot S: Unlimited Nova.
In the manga[]
In the Medarot manga series, Nae only had short appearances in the first Medarot manga assisting her grandfather and Hikaru when all Medarots went out of control.
In the Medarot R manga, Nae has a different hair color and is timid and unlucky. Unknown to her, Guzaemon, the boss of the Medarot Company branch she works for, is a greedy man behind illegal actions and the primary antagonist from the manga. After Guzaemon took over the branch, Nae was mistreated and harassed by some of her coworkers. When Guzaemon's branch is invaded by the heroes, Nae learns about his actions and assist in taking him down. However, due to her involvement in his actions, she was temporarily transferred to a branch in a cold region.
In the anime[]
Nae as a child
In Medabots Spirit, Nae used to work in the Medabot Corporation as a scientist, but she changed her job to work as a mechanic, repairing the Medabots of small children. She gave Metabee's new parts to Ikki and appears as a kind of mentor to them.
Nae met Zuru when he was a small child and, by pure chance, found out about his work as the Mystery Medafighter. She taught him how to Robattle with her Medabot, Honey.
