Yuichiitan (ユイチイタン), english name Sharkkan, is the original SAK-type Medarot modeled after a shark with the head being similar to a hammerhead shark.

Sharkkan is a shark-like Medarot designed for aquatic battles, with a long flexible tail in the place of legs to allow him to maneuver underwater. His arms are stylized to look like shark jaws, and can be used to bite at opponents or fire off gravity-based attacks.

In the anime

Sharkkan is owned by Ryan who fought Metabee. Metabee was unable to defeat Sharkkhan in a submission battle which caused him to lose his legs. Sharkkhan was also part of a plot that involved operating a sea monster costume with Flatstick and another water-based Medabot.

Following the plot being exposed, Metabee fought Sharkkhan again using the legs of Tentaclam that he got from an old man. With some wisdom from the old man on how a shark strikes, Metabee was able to defeat Sharkkhan and win his legs back.

In the games

Sharkkan is an aquatic-type Medarot that specializes in Break attacks. His parts have the Gravity attribute, making him highly compatible with the Bear Medal.

In Medarot 1

The player first encounters Sharkkan in a battle with Reika (one of the leaders of the RoboRobo Gang) in the harbor town area near the beginning of the game.

Later on, his parts can be obtained from random battles or bought from a convenience store outside the Medarot Laboratory.

In Medarot 2

Sharkkan's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred over from Medarot 1.

In Medarot 2 CORE

Sharkkan makes a reappearance in the GBA remake, where he's used by Medarotters in Odoro Mountain and the Kodine Kingdom.

In Medabots AX

Sharkkan is a Metabee Version exclusive.
