Medarotter Rintarou (manga), Medarot Card Game

Yellowturtle (イエロータートル) is a TOT-type Medabot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[]

As a Medabot based on a tortoise, Yellowturtle has very heavy, shell-like armor. The weight of this armor makes him very slow, and he specializes in firing slow, but powerful "Laser" attacks from his arms. Yellowturtle carries a battery in his Head Part, which he can use to reduce the charging time required for either his or other Medabots' weapons.

Yellowturtle can be distinguished from his upgrade, Totalizer by his somewhat blockier design and the distinctive lightning bolt mark on his forehead.

In the games[]

Yellowturtle is a tank-type Medabot with powerful "Laser" attacks on his arms. However, the effectiveness of these lasers is limited by Yellowturtle's especially slow speed and the long recharge time on his weapons. While the amount of armor on his leg and head parts is quite high, his arms are quite fragile and can easily be taken out with a single attack.

In Medarot 1, 2, and R, Yellowturtle's head part has the Extra Charge action, which can reduce the charge time of any Medabot, including himself. In his Medarot Navi appearance, it was replaced with the "Constant Charge" equip effect, which passively reduces the high AP cost on Yellowturtle's arms. From Medarot 8 onward, his head has the Heater action.

Medarot[]

Yellowturtle is the signature Medabot used by Kubota of the original Bad Kid Trio. He is also the second Medabot the player faces in the game, directly after Yanma's Cyandog.

Yellowturtle's parts can be obtained later on in rematches with Kubota, or bought from a downtown convenience store area.

Medarot 2[]

During the normal gameplay for Medarot 2, Yellowturtle's parts can't be obtained, as Yellowturtle was replaced by the new TOT-type, Totalizer. Instead, the player must transfer his parts over from the first game or Medarot Parts Collection. Unlike his successor, Yellowturtle was not included in the GBA remake.

Medarot R[]

Alongside Totalizer, Yellowturtle is used by Sloan, who is ranked opponent number 62 in Medarot R Parts Collection.

Medarot Navi[]

Yellowturtle appears with his design from the Medaroter Rintarou! manga. His parts can be obtained from the treasure boxes scattered throughout the game.

Yellowturtle's model number has been changed to TOT-0BH.

Medarot 8[]

The action from his head changed to Heater, and his legs gained the Endurance effect.

Medarot 9[]

The effect from his legs changed to Outrange.

Medarot S: Unlimited Nova[]

The effect from his legs changed to Bullet Rain.
